Sai Baba Mandir Lodhi Road
|History: Sai Baba was born on 15th October 1918 and later became a well known spiritual guru. He was the one who tried a lot to bring unity and peace between the Hindu and Muslim religion. He used to say always “Sabka malik ek”. On August 1972, the foundation stone was laid and M/s Pardhan Ghosh & Associates was appointed as the supervisor of the construction. Finally after many Havans and Pujas on 30th September 1976 the temple was opened to the public. Lodhi road area was Built in 1940s, to house government employees, with bungalows for senior officials in the nearby Lodhi Estate area. It was the last residential areas built by the British Raj. It was excellent living area and the last attribute ‘Quietest’ which makes this Colony an outstanding place for the children and students.|
